Very cool. It doesn't look like it could possibly be real...like those airbrushed paintings that were so popular in the 70s.

Fantastic picture, that's my planet! A couple years back, when it was as close as it was ever gonna get for a long time, I hauled my spotting-scope out onto the deck with its tripod and in the cold January night about 1:00 AM I saw the rings with my naked eye. I was astounded and so was my wife, it was just so cool. I had to keep moving the scope on the tripod too, as the planet spun. What a trip.

I did that too. Went to Enchanted Rock with the same group I recently went there with, and one guy brought his telescope. Very cool to see the rings, and the moons of Jupiter.

here isn't much better than a cool clear moonless night, a good pair of binocculars, and a fifth of schnapps
