I sent these pictures out last night, right after my shooting buddy Dave sent them to me. They purport to show Charlton Heston's basement gun room.
Another friend looked it up on the web and found that, as we suspected, it wasn't Chuck's basement, but the collection of another long time NRA member who's recently passed, and who's collection is now up for sale. Supposedly they've already sold off half the collection and raised something like 35 million dollars!
Bottom line dudes, the bar has been raised! My question to you is, if you could reach into one of these pictures and grab one thing, just one thing, what would it be?
Me? I dunno. Maybe that German 20mm Solothurn anti-tank rifle there in the second picture, on the table with the full clip under it. That'd be fun to have. maybe one of the many BARs there on the wall. I dunno. Too damn many to chose from. What do you think?

Think I'd have to choose one of the B.A.R.'s as well. Even if they are heavy and clumsy. Bastards are built like a vault, themselves!
That flame thrower on the back wall is tempting but I would probably choose a ma duece.
