Boys and their toys.

Seen some cool stuff lately on base. Here's a peak. Beautiful eh?

Someones done some work on this baby. Looks like it's just out of the shop.

Can't ya just feel the thunder? Hear the throaty rumble? Mmmmmhmmm!

needs to close his door better though.

I came around another corner in the lot and this dude was smilin' back at me.

Dodge Ram Charger... with a few extras. I used to always dream about havin' somethin' like this when I was a kid. I imagined painting a muscle car to have the same cool camouflaged paint job as an old fighter plane, like an ME 109. You know, white on the underside and mottled green cammo on top, with some sort of brilliant nose emblem. This guy's obviously had similar ideas.

'Round here if you see an old Camaro or Trans Am coming, chances are they are sportin' a mullet too!

Dude, don't go there. I just had an image of that Mac Davis perm flash though my head.

I love seeing what the soldiers spend their hard earned deployment money on. It's so much nicer to see stuff like this than stupid H3's and crap.

I was up at the main campus today for my scholarship acceptance meeting and thought of you and Denise. Hope you are doing well!

I'll take the Ram---if for no other reason than for the "nose-art"!

I miss seein' people take a vehicle, and givin' it it's own unique "personality"!

Everything on the road nowadays are pretty much "cookie-cutter" vehicles, all the same, a dime-a-dozen!

And I'm just as guilty myself, out of sheer necessity.

Unless you're able to repair and maintain the "oldies" yourself, and find a reliable source for the parts, there's not much choice. The day of the small street-corner garage, with the middle-aged, raw-boned mechanic who had a literal "feel" for the machine is GONE. For todays' modern-mechanic, it's "Plug-in the computer, and let IT tell ME what needs done! Then I'll try to figure out how to actually DO it, providing I can locate the actual part under all those wires and hoses!"

Gone are the days of K.I.S.S.---"Keep It Simple, Stupid"......!

J- very true. I'd MUCH rather see a muscle car than a hummer. Love the Dodge though too.

Sarge and Hammer - Yep, cool as hell!

Bruno - Very true man. Those old dudes need TLC, and many of the new guys out there are not trained for it. We've got a few shops around here that specialize, but not many.

Damn the guy with that Camaro! That thing is B-E-A-yootiful. I'm getting tired of seeing cars like that. Maybe it's time for me to go get mine and get started on it...

Love the sharkmouth! Flying Tigers! Arrgh! An old boyfriend of my damn sister's wrecked one of those Camaros - he deserves a Field of glass!
