Anybody ever hear of this guy?

The caption of this video should've been "What a dumbass!"

Nice work on the cunard fins. Wonder how much time they spent on those, thinkin' "yea, this'll be the ticket". Aaaah, the 70s.

That was cool!

I used to have a Lincoln just like that but without the rockets. and the gay wings.

He did exactly what Knievel did, either chicken out and pulled the parachutes too early, or they deployed on their own. He, like Evil, might have made it.

However, more thought should have been given to the size of the chutes.

I'm thinkin' they should have thought more about the balance of the car, the unaerodinamic nature of the thing. They needed real cunard fins out front to help keep the nose down, or somethin'. You can see the nose shoot up as soon as he lifts off the ramp. Looks like the rocket blows off too. Lucky as hell he only broke his back.

Yeah, lets use a car that's about as aerodynamic as a cinderblock.

I say hey, it was the 70's, blame it on better living through chemistry!

1976 was Jimmy Carter in action, stag-flation made people do a lot of weird things. Jumping shit is easy, it's the landing that's sooo hard.
