Plemmy and I were chatting last night...

She'd looked over the last post, the picture of me golfing, and said something like "Mm, nice calves. You'd look good in a kilt." I was like, "Huh? Get real. Where would one go to get a kilt?" She sent me the link, and while surfing through the product shots, I found this guy.

Since I haven't seen this look walkin' around the base, I'm assuming this guy is a contractor. Of course, the Scots fought (and mostly lost) many a battle in things that looked a lot like the skirt my sister wore in Catholic school, but I can't see this happenin' today. You know, combat's got to be tense enough without worryin' about yer dingus swingin' loose in the wind. Takes a special kind of guy to go there. Tell us ladies, is this a hot look? Cheers.

Looks extra gay, with cheese.

Ditto, Dick.
If I were a guy, I'd always be worried about my dangly pieces if wearing a kilt.
But FHB, I do agree with Phlegmmy, 'cause I told my daughter while we were perusing your post that you had nice legs!

Dick - My sentiments exactly, but the older celtic guys, Roman times, with all the blue woad war paint and the spiked hair... Now THAT is a warriors look, fer sure. My peeps.

Christina - Thanks. Those legs resulted from doing an hour at a time on a staimaster (hight setting), about 3 or 4 times a week. Eventually started feeling like a rat on a wheel and quit, which is when I REALLY turned into a fathairybastard. Recently decided I'm gonna start back. Want to get back in shape. And I'll see you in Vegas one day, fer sure. Take care.

It's got to help wit cooling but the crack sand has to be horrible.

Hey, I happen to think that lads in kilts are Hot, Hot, Hot! The Germans didn't call our kilted warriors "the Ladies from Hell" for nothing. Must have been the extra cooling that made all the difference. My Wilson best buddy has a Wilson tartan kilt - I think it scores him some extra hay roll time, too. Try it. Post photos.

Pfffttttt (spit take)! Weeeelllll, I may have to rethink this whole thing.

Don't fall for it, FHB.
Notice how Lin didn't say whether the roll in the hay is with chicks or GUYS? There's a reason for that... LOL!!

First it's guys in skirts, then it's guys in bras and silk panties...sigh.

Would kinda make for a "sand-blaster" effect, wouldn't it? To say nothing for the sunburn UNDERNEATH from reflection! Or maybe the sun doth not shine there, like it does here?

Oh BAD Goddess, bad, bad, bad! Don't be scaring FHB off before he's tried it. He could quite likely up his chances of getting laid (by the desired segment even!) if he tries it.

But, FHB, don't try it in the middle east - I hear that the sand DOES get EVERYWHERE.

Lin - No fair wavin' cooze in a guys face to try to get him to dress like a fool. Like girls don't do that all over the world, right? I dunno. I'll think about it. They do look cool sometimes, but you've got to have the body for it. Too many fat guys wearin' 'em now. World doesn't need another. They have a Scottish festival down the road in Salado once a year, but I've never seen too many "hot" ladies attending. Lots of men and women who look like they spent a LOT of time playing Dungeons and Dragons, and dressing up like Princess Lea and Darth Vader till the got the kilt.

If you look good in a kilt, you can have any chick.

FHB said...

Yea, whatever. Damn man, where the hell have you been?

I DID see an entire wedding party at the casino where the gentlemen were in kilts, and I have to say they were very hot. They had all the accoutrements also. Sporran, skean dhu (sp?). Very cool.

I'm telling ya. To quote Lawdog:

"...the ability of a formal highland outfit to attract the Fair Sex has to be experienced to be believed. Confidence and kilt, my lads, confidence and a kilt."

FHB said...

Hm, well, I'll have to think about it.

Didn't know they had a battle skirt!

Even with my Scot blood, I don't think I'd go into battle wearing a skirt these days...imagine the torture the sight of one might invoke in the mind of today's idiots!

"Battle skirt"! Too funny!
Skirts on dudes... not feelin' it.

*Goddess* said...

Sorry, Lin, but I gotta agree with Dick on this one. I'd like to see FHB spiffed up in a SUIT, not a skirt..lol!

FHB said...

Ew, suits are evil. Never felt good in one. Never had one that I felt fit me right. Weddings and funerals.
