Saw the northern lights once in Canada, driving up to Lake
Opeongo to go canoeing and Pike fishing with my Cousin. It was
amazing. Was looking out into the darkness as we drove north
and there it was, this blue or green haze in the distance. I said
"what the hell is that?" I knew what the aurora was, but never
thought I'd get to see it. We don't normally get light shows like
that down here. We do have the Marfa lights, but that's a whole
different thing. Beautiful. We'll meet again some day.

Wow, awesome shot dude! Did you take this?
Great pic!
Naaa. Got it over at the Astronomy Pictures site, to the left in the links. They come up with some cool shots now and then. This one reminded me of something I'd seen years ago. Figured I'd share.
I've never seen those before, either. Beautiful shot.
it would have been great if u could take the picture of wat u have seen then. i guess in a way it would have been more 'real'.
I took a picture of the aurora I saw in Canada, but the film and camera were crap and it didn't come out. You've got to have expencive shit to get a shot like this one.
Wow, that's a stunning image.
